TERMS OF SALE

Every possible effort has been given to ensure that you are taking home a healthy and well-adjusted pet. Seller agrees to provide health records, pedigree, and CFA registration papers for this cat upon receipt.

Under NO circumstances shall this cat be sold, leased, given away, serviced to, or otherwise transferred to any other party, pet shop, research laboratory, or any other similar facility.

If for any reason, the purchaser is unable to keep that cat, the breeder is to be notified and given the FIRST option for ownership. Under no circumstances will the kitten be transferred to a new owner without the breeder’s written permission.

The purchaser assumes all responsibilities and liabilities of said cat to include adequate sanitary indoor facilities and immediate veterinary care when necessary. The purchaser agrees that the cat will be kept indoors at all times, with the exception of brief visits in a carrier with a responsible adult present.

If this cat is found to be in ill health, neglected, mistreated, denied proper veterinary care, or allowed to harbor parasites, the purchaser shall surrender the cat back to the seller unconditionally with no compensation.

Purchaser agrees to provide responsible care for this cat including protection from hazards such as traffic, dogs, and small children. Purchaser agrees that any children or dogs in the household will be supervised and not allowed to torment, roughhouse, or otherwise mistreat the cat.

If not already altered at time of purchase, purchaser agrees to spay or neuter this kitten between 6 months and 10 months of age and agrees that this cat will not be used for breeding or showing purposes. NO EXCEPTIONS. No warranty or guarantee is made either verbally or implied as to the breeding ability or show potential of this cat.

Due to studies done at Cornell University, there is strong evidence to suggest that the FIP vaccine presents a greater danger to these cats than any protection it might offer. We strongly disapprove of the use of this vaccine, therefore, if this vaccine is administered, the purchaser acknowledges that the health guarantee of this cat is null and void. It is also recommended that this cat not be vaccinated for feline leukemia. Feline leukemia vaccinations should only be administered to cats that roam freely outdoors or are exposed to other untested cats. Seller in not responsible for the effects of either of these vaccines if administered.

HEALTH GUARANTEE

This kitten was bred from top quality, healthy, and PKD negative tested parents. This kitten/cat is guaranteed to be free of the following diseases/problems: FELV, FIV, PKD, flees, mites, and ringworm. In the unlikely event the cat is found to have any hereditary condition or malformation within its first year of life which interferes with it’s health and well-being and your veterinarian will send such a report on official letterhead noting the cat had this condition at the time of sale, the cat will be replaced with the next available kitten/cat of comparable quality, when said cat is returned to the breeder. Disposition of the affected cat will be at breeder’s discretion.

There is a 90-day guarantee of sickness or death due to natural causes. This guarantee requires written veterinary statement. A licensed veterinarian of the purchaser’s choice must examine the animal within 14 days of purchase or the terms and guarantees are not valid. The seller is not responsible for any veterinary costs incurred by the purchaser. No cash refunds after 90 days.

Purchaser agrees to provide the name, address and telephone number of their veterinarian in the event contact needs to be made. By initialing below, purchaser agrees to give veterinarian permission to disclose any information to seller regarding the care of this cat. Initials

Feeding Instructions: Fresh water daily. KITTEN food for first year and then ADULT food after. We feed and recommend Purina Pro Plan. When changing brands of dry food, slowly mix the new food with the old food to prevent loose stool.

Jenna-Purrz Persians retains a secure interest in this cat/kitten for the purpose of enforcement of this agreement, and may enforce that interest, including repossession of the cat without judicial intervention. Any legal action that may arise under the terms of this contract must be brought in Duplin County, North Carolina. Breach of contract penalty is $1000 per item. Purchaser shall be liable for any court costs and related charges, including attorney’s fees associated with Jenna-Purrz Persians enforcing the terms of this contract. This agreement is the entire agreement between the parties. By signing below, both parties agree to abide by the terms of this contract and indicate their acceptance thereof.
